If you’d like to be able to close your shutters, or simply achieve the look of real shutters, pintels must be used to avoid fixed installation. They connect your shutters’ hinges to your home and allow them to swing open and closed. Our European Hardware Collection includes a variety of designs, lengths, and offsets to work with any window size and specification.

Please note, our European Hinges and Pintels are not interchangeable with the classic Timberlane Hardware. Hinges and pintels must be selected jointly from one line.
